KIBWORTH CRICKET CLUB - 1866 Season

  

Leicester Journal & Midland Counties General Advertiser 2 Mar:     The Cricket Club of the village has for several years past been below par, but another attempt was made on Monday night to revive it, and it fairs to be stronger than at any time previously. Mr. Hunt Esq., was elected President. T. Macaulay Vice President. Mr. A. B. Fry and Rev. R. Russell joint  Secretaries and Treasurer. A committee was formed, and a very large amount of subscriptions was  announced.

Leicester Journal & Midland Counties General Advertiser  4 May:    KCC. The members played the opening match on Monday last. The day was cold for many to attend, but those who did had an excellent match. [no names]

Leicester Journal & Midland Counties General Advertiser   15 June  A cricket match between Harborough v KCC, played on the 8th, when Kibworth made but short scores.
