Leicester Chronicle           3 May    The cricket season commenced here on Saturday last, with a match between KCC v Sills', Leicester. The ground is much improved, and is a very good one to play on. Kibworth scored 125, when their opponents went in and scored 21 for the loss of 3 wickets, it then being time to close the game.

Market Harborough Advertiser          8 July     KCC v Little Bowden. The match was played at Kibworth on Thursday last week, resulting in an easy victory for Kibworth, by an innings and 19 runs.

Market Harborough Advertiser          26 August - Victoria CC vs Kibworth CC: This match was played in the cricket field on Saturday and ended in a draw. The scores were: Kibworth 120, Victoria CC 62 for 5 wickets. Trasler made 25 (not out) for the Victoria CC and Underwood 52 for the Kibworth team.

Leicester Chronicle             6 Sep      In the early part of the cricket season the position of the Kibworth Club, from a militant point of view was very different, several good teams suffering defeats at the hands of apparent weaker clubs. It is, however, gratifying to be able to record that the prestige of the Kibworth players has been latterly to some extent retrieved, and last Saturday a strong and very sanguine team, consisting of the Mkt. Harborough Rifle Volunteers, came over to do battle with the Kibworth men, with the result that the Volunteers were completely overthrown. The Volunteer Band was present, and under the conductorship of Mr. Greenwood, played in admiral style a selection of music during the afternoon.    KCC 124, RV 72.
