Match Report

Played at Kibworth on Saturday and resulted in a fine win for Kibworth. Kibworth batted first and were soon in difficulties against the bowling of
Benskin and Snary, five wickets falling for 24 runs. However a stand by Grant and Swann brought the total to 52, Grant being sixth man out . A useful
14 by Dr Marriott and Swann brought the total to 80, and eventually the side were all out for 93.
This looked an easy win for Toone's but against the bowling of Grant  and Berry runs came very slowly, the first twelve overs yeilding only 21 runs.
However, the total eventually reached 69 for 9 wickets, Mounterney scoring 34, which included 15 singles, and with the last over of the match , Grant
bowled Randon Snr the side being all out for 75. The bowling and fielding on both sides was very good.
