Kibworth first team clung on to claim a draw in their Everards LCCL game against Loughborough Town with Chris Hill and Colin Griggs playing out the last two and half overs as Kibworth closed on 219-9 in reply to the visitors 239-6. Hill was the star with the ball claiming 3-54 but after a promising start Kibworth were 87-4 before Sunny Patel 49 and Simon Renshaw 46 gave them hopes of a win. Renshaw in particular struck some powerful blows but perished trying to push things along and it was left to the final pair to keep the Loughborough bowlers at bay.
