Match report

Put in Sunny and Burty got us to a good start, batting with some caution at first then accelerating to have us in good position of around 45 for 0 after 6. The wheels fell of a hat-trick of full tosses resulted in a hat-trick of wickets as both openers and Jacko were accounted for. The rest of the batters continued the early good work with some aggressive hitting and good running, and with a cameo at the end which resulted in 19 being hit off of the last over, We set S & T 120 to win.
They got off to a good start with 16 coming off of the first 2 over's. There overseas player looks a good bat, and took advantage of the small leg side boundary, which was comparable to the leg side we have experienced at Lord's on a couple of visits. He batted well despite the steady stream of wickets from the other end. Some tight over's from Spiro, Joe, and Amir ( bowling around the same pace as Ferra's ) dragged us back into the game, and when the S & T overseas was out LBW to Amir, the remaining wickets fell quickly to leave us with 20'odd run win.
