Barkby United's home debut in the Premier Division turned into a nightmare.
Kibworth demolished them by 10 wickets in a one-sided contest that spanned 41.1 overs.
The home side were bowled out in 30 overs for 61 – and 31 of those runs were extras.
Skipper Craig Hendry played a patient and defiant knock and was left 12 not out.
But the 10 batsmen who were dismissed totalled just 18 runs between them.
Opening bowlers Tom Burton (2-10) and Tom Driver (3-30) made the most of conditions in which the ball moved about a little.
Barkby, who were put in to bat, were in deep trouble at 35-6 and the vastly-experienced Simon Renshaw ensured there was no escape.
Keeping a nagging line and length, he returned remarkable figures of 5-4-1-4 and finished off the innings with a hat-trick.
Things got little better for Barkby when they went into the field.
Matt Craven (39 not out) and Ram Ghuman (22 not out) played a host of handsome shots all round the wicket as Kibworth galloped to victory off the first ball of the 11th over.
That game was over just after 3.30pm
