Town had mixed fortunes with a double header against Kibworth. Saturday in
the premier league and on Sunday in the National knock out. Saturday saw town go
top of the league following a convincing 7 wkt win. Putting Kibworth into bat
they scuttled them out for a modest 129 in 38.3 overs. Rhaul Sharma the pick of
the bowlers taking 4 for 23 from 9 overs. Vivak Parikh and Kyle Saddington
taking 2 each.
Town's reply got of to the worst start; with inform Anish Patel being caught at 3 man of the first ball. When the 2 wicket fell in the 6 over with the score on 20 town may have thought things may be harder then first thought. However Viv Parikh and Kyle Saddington put on 85 for the 3 wicket and steered town in sight of the winning post. Parikh fell just 3 short of his 50 But Saddington 54no and Capt Dips Patel saw town safely home in the 25 over to take 24pts.
