Kibworth scrambled home by two wickets in the penultimate over of their Group 12 tie with Lutterworth at Fleckney road on Sunday
Steve Masic (58) and Craig Wilson (51) were the mainstays of the visitors' innings, sharing a fourth-wicket partnership of 90 , which helped them to 197-7.
Kibworth made a flying start with Matt Craven hitting 41 but wickets started to fall at regular intervals and, at the start of the penultimate over, Kibworth needed 10 with two wickets left.
Wilson had taken a blinding catch in addition to his valuable innings but Tom Driver and Dan Broughton scored 10 runs off his first five deliveries to take Kibworth over the finishing line.
