There were nerves around as Thorpe Arnold had key players missing and had to play with 10.
Thorpe Arnold won the toss and elected to field.
Things started well as Foldys got the opener for 10 with a direct hit run out. The runs then flowed steadily for Kibworth with the opener getting 78 and no 3 batsman getting 133.
Wickets did fall latterly with Foldys (2) and D Exton (1) before Knight took his first and then next over was on a hat trick and Kibworth declared on 264 for 7 with two balls to spare.
Thorpe Arnold put up a good fight with 5 out of the top 6 all scoring runs, Evans and Sibun both scoring over 50.
Wickets were falling and with 7 overs to go and the score at 189 for 6 skipper Sibun issued the order to make it to 200 and not get out. Exton (D) ignored this however and was out with three overs left but Knight and Foldys saw Thorpe to 200 for 7 at the end of play.
