Match Report.
Market Harborough Thursday XI visited Kibworth on Thursday and returned with a draw. The prowess of F Vendy proved too much for the Harborough bowlers
and he had the satisfaction of putting up the most creditable score of 76. Kibworth batted first and with Vendy's score added to that of C Berry (20) and S Whitlock (17)
the Harborough boys did quite a little leather hunting. Despite the fact that Harborough may have been a little tired they certainly put up a good fight, registering 116
before the call of the game, when A Newcombe stood on 24 not out and G Green with a useful 14 not out. It was a very good start, the visitors only having an hour
and a half to get runs, but were very hard pressed, and had to be satisfied with a draw at 7.30pm
